The ‘Merenda Sinoira’, archetype of the Piedmontese aperitif, is part of the oldest gastronomic tradition of our territory. The farmers brought a napkin with bread, cheese and cured meats to the fields, accompanied by a glass of wine, which they consumed on summer afternoons to get some rest: the mother of all aperitifs
in the world! A pleasant habit handed down to this day, which enhances quality,
zero-mile products. Over the centuries, the Merenda Sinoira, has evolved,
but has maintained its essence: a collective meal that brings together the family
and workers, always characterized by simple but richly flavored dishes, which evoke Piedmontese agricultural life.
